I picked up a few Anova accessories and they’re okay. The container is easy to use, but the lid feels a bit cheap. Nothing has broken or anything, it just doesn’t feel as nice as I expected for the price. Shipping was fine. I’d probably only grab more if they were on sale...

I didn’t expect getting this on my WiFi to be such a hassle. The app just kept spinning, and I had to restart the whole thing twice before it finally connected. It works now, so I’ll give it that, but the setup was way more annoying than it should be for something this expensive. I had planned to get it set up quickly and relax, but that pretty much ruined my plans for the night.

I just subscribed recently, so that’s probably coloring my opinion a bit, but so far the price feels fair to me. Based on my experience right now, I’d say it’s worth it

At first it would seal every now and then, so I thought maybe it was doing its job. But after a few weeks, the little suction superstar completely lost suction and basically became a fancy countertop decoration. Not the most impressive performance.

I do like this cooker when it actually works. The cooking part is fine. No real complaints there. But the WiFi has been a pain. It keeps dropping off my network, and then the app takes forever to find it again. I’ve reset it, moved it closer to the router, removed it and added it back. Same issue. Frustrating. For the price, I really expected the connection to be way more reliable. It’s still usable manually, but the smart features were a big reason I bought it in the first place.

Well... I’ve used it a few times now, and the temperature seems to drift a bit while cooking. The food still comes out okay, but it’s not as consistent as I’d expect for the price.

I’ve been using my Anova for a while now, it feels well made. The clamp is sturdy, the main body doesn’t feel cheap, and the buttons are simple but still work just fine. I do wish some of the plastic parts felt a little more premium, maybe just a bit nicer in the hand... but overall, it’s held up well and I’m happy with it.

The app works good for the most part. Every now and then it feels a little slow, and from the way it loads I kind of assume it’s just getting bogged down or taking a second to catch up. Nothing too frustrating, but it would be nice if it ran a bit smoother...

I bought my Anova mostly for the Bluetooth control, and like I said, that was the main reason I wanted it. It connected quickly most of the time, though it did drop once when I wandered too far from the kitchen. Not a huge deal for me, like I said, it still makes cooking a lot easier

The steaks and chicken came out tasting great, but I’m not gonna lie, it took me a couple tries to figure it out. First round I felt like a total dummy, but once I got the hang of it, everything turned out really good.

I updated the firmware on my Anova the process went smoothly. It seems to be working better now, which is great. That said, I wish the update notes were a little clearer because I wasn’t totally sure what had changed at first. Overall though, no major hassle and I’m happy with it.

My order from Anova Culinary showed up really nicely packed. Compared to a few other kitchen gadgets I’ve ordered online, this one felt like they actually cared about the packaging. The box was clean, nothing was crushed, and the cooker had plenty of protection around it inside. No dents, no loose pieces, no weird signs of rough handling. Overall, I was happy with how it arrived.

It does the job okay, no big complaints there. But storing it is kind of annoying. It’s one of those things where it works fine when you’re using it, then afterward you’re standing there like, alright, where am I supposed to put this now?

I really wanted to love the Anova Precision Oven, but my experience has been inconsistent. Some days it holds the temperature just fine, and other times it feels like it’s running hotter than what the display says, which makes cooking more stressful than it should be. The steam function is great when it works, but the preheat time is longer than I expected, and the app randomly losing connection gets old fast. For what this oven costs, I think Anova needs to be more accountable for these performance and connectivity issues. It’s not a terrible product, but it’s frustrating enough that I wouldn’t buy it again.

Overall, it works well for me. Every now and then I notice a little humming sound, but it’s not constant or anything. I’m guessing it might just be when it’s working a bit harder, though I can’t say for sure. Still happy with it for the most part.

It cooks the food just fine, so I can’t really complain about that part. it does a decent job. But then the cleaning part comes around and suddenly I hate it. Water spots seem to stay on everything, and the little crevices are weirdly hard to wipe out. Some days I’m like, yeah this is useful, and other days I just don’t want to deal with it at all. I’ve been using it less because the cleanup feels like more work than it should

I’ve had my Anova cooker for a few years now, and it’s still been really solid. I don’t use it every day, but it’s great for steaks, chicken, and meal prep. The app can be a little slow here and there, but it hasn’t bothered me much. It’s easy to clean, easy to store, and the food turns out good. I’m happy with it and don’t regret buying it...

It works fine once it gets going, but the way it’s described made me think it would heat up a lot faster. Most nights I’m sitting there waiting longer than I expected, which is frustrating. Not a bad product overall, just wish the wording had been more upfront about how long the heating actually takes.

I’ve been using the Anova app with my cooker a few times a week, it’s been one of those things where I keep thinking, okay, why wasn’t I doing this sooner? Setup was easy, connecting didn’t give me a headache, and being able to set the temp and timer from my phone is just really convenient.
The alerts are actually helpful too, which I wasn’t totally expecting. Like, yes, please tell me when the water’s ready so I’m not wandering back and forth to check. The recipes are simple enough to follow without feeling like a whole project. I did have one little reconnect issue once, but it sorted itself out, and other than that it’s been great.
